The UAE has announced a $550 million contribution to support the United Nations' 2026 Global Humanitarian Overview. The decision was made in accordance with the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The UAE said the commitment to this financial assistance reflects its long-term commitment to humanitarian service. The UAE government also said that it aims to alleviate the suffering of communities affected by conflict, natural disasters and various global crises, build capacity and contribute to improving lives.

The UAE has been continuously strengthening its partnership with the United Nations.
