Both chambers of the US House of Representatives have voted to order the US Department of Justice to open files related to Jeffrey Epstein. The lower house (House) passed the resolution by a vote of 427-1.

The Senate unanimously approved it on a fast track, so it did not have to vote. Now that President Trump has signed the resolution passed by both houses, the Justice Department will have to make these files public.

US President Donald Trump had earlier called on Republican lawmakers not to block the finals related to Epstein. Earlier, a document longer than 20,000 pages related to Epstein was made public. Some pages of the document also include President Donald Trump's name.

But Trump has been saying that he has done nothing wrong. He is claiming that the Democratic Party has spread false rumors against him for political gain.
