At least 69 people died in the earthquake that hit the Philippines on Tuesday night. The local media reported that many people died when the building collapsed.

According to the Manila Times, an earthquake of 6.9 magnitude occurred in Cebu province of the Philippines. Similarly, hundreds of people were injured in the earthquake, according to local authorities.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, there have been more than 600 aftershocks since the earthquake. The Cebu Provincial Government has declared a state of emergency in the entire province.
