8 people have been killed in Ukraine due to Russia's attack. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, two children were killed in the attack in Kiev.

Zelensky issued a statement on X and said, "Russia chose ballistic missiles instead of sitting at the table and talking." He also reiterated the demand for strict sanctions against Russia. 

Since then, the mayor of Kyiv, Bitali Klitschko, has said that 38 people were injured in a large-scale drone attack.

On Wednesday, Ukraine's energy infrastructure was heavily damaged by a Russian drone attack. As a result, the electricity supply of more than one million Ukrainian homes was stopped.
