Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has said that at least 24 people have died and 15 others have been injured due to monsoon rains in Pakistan in the last 24 hours.

In the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 21 people have died, including 14 children. Two people died in southern Sindh province and one person died in Kashmir.

Officials said that Dharai died due to flash floods and heavy monsoon rains.
