Four Al Jazeera journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

Al Jazeera reported that they were killed in an attack near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera, at the time of the Israeli attack, reporters Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammad Qurayke, cameramen Ibrahim Zahi and Mohammad Naufal were in a tripal made for journalists at the main gate of the hospital.

About two weeks ago, Al Jazeera condemned the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and said that a campaign was launched against the journalists of the team including Ali-Sharif in Gaza.

Shortly after the attack, the IDF confirmed that Anas al-Sharif had been attacked . The IDF posted on Telegram and said, "He was working as the head of a terrorist cell of Hamas." The IDF did not mention the other journalists who were killed in the attack.

Mohammed Moawad, managing editor of Al Jazeera, told the BBC, "Al-Sharif was the only voice reporting the atrocities in Gaza."
