Three Nepalis have died in a shooting incident in Texas, USA. Three members of the same family have died in a suicide shooting incident in the city of Dallas, Texas.

According to the Dallas Police statement, the shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Dudley Street at 2:10 a.m. local time. According to the police, 53-year-old Lalit Pradhan shot dead his 37-year-old wife Ranjana Shrestha and three-year-old son Pranish Pradhan.

After shooting his wife and son, Lalit killed himself using the same pistol, the police said. According to the police, Ranjana and Pranish died on the spot and Lalit was declared brought dead after being taken to the hospital.

Lalit had been taking depression medication for a long time . Just a day before the incident, Lalit had posted on his Facebook wall that he was under stress for a long time and could not even attend work.

"I and my family have not been able to get government services, due to which I and my family have been forced to work hard," he wrote in his Facebook post.

General Secretary of Nepali Society Texas (NST) Vijay Bhusal said that he had received initial information that Lalit was a Bhutanese refugee and Ranjana was a Nepali. "We are constantly trying to get information from the police about the incident and coordinate with the relatives in Nepal," he said, "We are trying to connect with the relatives in an institutional manner, efforts are also being made to send the body to Nepal."

Two months ago, on June 5, four Nepalis from the same family were found dead in the city of Manassas in the state of Virginia. In the Manasas incident too, the police said that he committed suicide after the murder. According to the police, 38-year-old Santosh Periyar, 36-year-old Anju Shrestha, a 2-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl died of gunshot wounds in the Manasas incident.

Manassas police have not yet released a single fact about the incident. The police said that the incident is being investigated and evidence is being collected.
