During a program organized in New York, RPP chief whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi (Gyanendra) and former executive director of Nepal Education Authority Kulman Ghising have been honored with the 'Global Hero Award'.
This award was given in a grand ceremony organized by Global Nepali in New York City, America. This year, this award was given especially in recognition of the contribution of Gyanendra Shahi and Kulman Ghising to nation building and public service.
This program was organized in New York and there was a significant presence of Nepali Diaspora as well as distinguished personalities from different fields. Global Nepali has been highly appreciating the contribution of Nepali talents and personalities dedicated to the nation on the international stage. After the
award, Shahi expressed his gratitude to all the Nepalis abroad and dedicated the award to Jumli, Karnali and the Nepalis who speak in favor of good governance in the country and abroad. After receiving the
award, Shahi said, 'The Global Hero Award is the superiority of the trust of Karnali and Jumli people as well as the trust of Nepalis all over the country and abroad. I dedicate this award to them. He expressed his belief that this award will undoubtedly inspire good work in the society and strengthen the sense of unity.
Kulman Ghising also expressed his gratitude for the award. At the moment, he is focusing on his campaign abroad.
