A Bangladesh Army jet has crashed in a campus complex in North Dhaka. The Associated Press, quoting the military and firefighters, said one person died and several others were injured in the incident.

According to local Jamuna TV in Bangladesh, the students were outside the college campus at the time of the accident. Television footage showed flames and smoke billowing from the crash site. TV reported that 13 students were injured in the incident. 

The Public Relations Office of the Bangladeshi Army issued a brief statement and confirmed that the F-7 BGI aircraft had crashed.
