The United Nations has expressed deep concern that the food shortage and malnutrition situation in the Gaza Strip is becoming very dire.

Especially women and children are suffering from acute hunger, due to which the number of people dying is increasing every day.

In a report published by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), it is mentioned that the Israeli administration ordered forced displacement again in the northern area of Gaza. Malnourished children and adults are at risk of death due to lack of treatment in hospitals there.

In recent days, the fuel crisis has intensified. Despite the limited supply of fuel, waste management has been halted and water wells have been closed in the Deir al-Balah area. Similarly, life-saving health services like dialysis are also being stopped and other services are being stopped.

Attempts to get humanitarian aid into Gaza have also continued to fail. According to the United Nations, only 7 of the 13 recent attempts were given permission by the Israeli administration. The

organization has commented that the war, displacement, starvation, lack of fuel and growing frustration in the public mind in Gaza is a tragic situation where collective deprivation is becoming the norm.

Meanwhile, the United Nations and international organizations have expressed regret that the serious lack of food in Gaza has led to a famine and the international community is still silent.
