46 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip on Saturday.

Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said 27 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces firing near a US- and Israeli-backed aid distribution center north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. 

180 people were injured. 10 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the northern city of Gaza City. Eight of them are women and children. At least seven people were killed in an airstrike in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The ambulance team has also removed the bodies of two people who were killed in the Israeli bombardment from the Sheikh Nasser area of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip. On March 18, Israel resumed its military operations in the enclave. 

At least 7,311 Palestinians have been killed since Israel resumed its attacks. 26 thousand 54 people were injured. Since October 2023, the total number of deaths has reached 57 thousand 882, while the number of injured has reached 138 thousand 95, according to health officials in Gaza.
