The Israeli Defense Forces claim to control more than 65 areas of Gaza.
Through a statement on Friday, it said that it currently maintains its control over more than 65 percent of the territory of the Gaza Strip.
The statement said that the areas under Israeli control are mainly the north, south and east. According to Israel's Channel 12 news, when the Israeli army resumed its offensive on Gaza in March, it aimed to control 75 percent of the territory.
According to Gaza health officials, 57,130 Palestinians have died in the Israeli attack on Gaza that began in October 2023. 135 thousand 173 people were injured.
