US President Trump has said that Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60-day ceasefire in Gaza.
Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, "We will work together with all sides to end the war." However, he did not give any information about the conditions.
He wrote, 'Qatar and Egypt have worked hard for peace. And will submit the final proposal. I believe that Hamas will accept this agreement. Because there will be no other situation better than this. Instead, the other option will be bad.'
On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked Israel. About 1200 people were killed in that attack. In which there were 10 Nepalese students. The condition of Nepal's Bipin Joshi is still unknown. After the attack by Hamas, Israel started military operations against Hamas in Gaza.
According to Hamas' Ministry of Health, 56,647 people have died in Gaza so far. It is not yet clear whether Hamas will accept Trump's terms or not.
Trump's announcement came before the meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week. Trump has said that he is very determined.
On Tuesday, he expressed his belief that Netanyahu also wants to end hostilities. Trump said, 'I think we will reach an agreement by next week.' But talks with Israel have not been done yet.
Israel has said that the operation will stop only after the complete elimination of Hamas. Hamas has long demanded a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. About 50 Israeli citizens are still being held by Hamas. It is said that 20 of them may be alive.
