38 people died when a bus and a minibus collided at a place called Sabasaba in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania on Saturday evening.

In a statement issued by the President's office on Sunday, it has been confirmed that 38 people, including two women, died in the accident. Also, it is mentioned that 28 people were injured. According to the

statement, the accident happened when the bus driver lost control after the tire punctured. It is said that the fire after the collision made the damage more terrible.

'The bodies of 36 of the victims of the accident are difficult to identify as their bodies are completely burnt,' the statement said.

It is said that 6 of the injured are still being treated at the hospital. Fatal road accidents like this happen frequently in Tanzania.
