Israel attacked the building of Iran's state television Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) on Monday.
IRIB resumed live broadcasting shortly after the attack on its central office.
A senior official of the state-owned broadcasting service IRIB said, 'The Jewish regime, an enemy of the Iranian nation, launched a military attack against the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network a few minutes ago.' He said from
live broadcast, 'Israel seemed ignorant of the fact that the voice of the Islamic revolution and the great Iran cannot be suppressed by military action.'
Earlier, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Iran's state-run television and radio would be attacked and 'destroyed'.
"Iranian propaganda and incitement 'megaphone' is about to be destroyed," he said in a statement. He issued an order to the nearby residents to relocate to a safe place.
Similarly, the Israeli army also asked the residents of a part of the northern 'District Three' of the capital to leave there 'immediately'.
