Corona infection is increasing in India since few days. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of active infected people in India has reached 6,133.
Corona has been confirmed in 378 more people in the last 24 hours. Similarly, 753 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours.
6 people have died in the last 24 hours. The most active infected are in Kerala. The number of active infected in Kerala has reached 1,950. Similarly, the number of active infected has reached 822 in Gujarat, 693 in West Bengal and 686 in Delhi. Since January 1, 2025, 65 people have died from Corona in India.
The Ministry of Health and Population has started preparing for the rapid increase in the rate of corona infection in India. Ministry spokesman Dr. Prakash Budhathoki has said that he has been preparing for two weeks in view of the recent spread of infection and some deaths in India. He said that 17 land crossings and three air crossings connected with India and the health workers working at the health desks there have been kept in readiness.
