The US is going to completely block the entry of citizens of 12 different countries. According to the White House, Trump has signed an executive order on the travel ban.

US President Donald Trump has announced a complete ban on the entry of citizens of those 12 countries and stricter restrictions on the entry of citizens of seven other countries, according to the international media.

The countries that have been banned from traveling to America are Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, according to the international news organization BBC.

Apart from this, there are seven other countries whose citizens are partially banned from traveling. Countries with a partial ban include Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.

The US has said that this ban was imposed to protect the US from 'dangerous foreign elements'. The travel restrictions and restrictions on these 19 countries will be enforced next Monday. The White House has also released Trump's statement on X .

This ban will be effective from June 9. This is the second time such an announcement has been made by Trump. Earlier in his first term, Trump signed a similar order in 2017.

"After the recent terrorist attack on Colorado, we do not want to see a high security risk in the United States with the entry of foreign nationals who have obtained temporary visas without proper security checks and stay illegally for a long time," Trump said in a video released by the White House on X .
