On Sunday, 114 immigrants were arrested from the US state of Colorado.

During a raid on an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, about 70 miles south of Denver, the main city of Colorado, on Sunday morning local time, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) team arrested 114 undocumented people at once.

According to the American media USA Today, the Rocky Mountain Division of the (DEA) detained 114 people from an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs on April 27 and started the process for deportation.

'The underground night club is an illegal night club, what was happening inside was drug trafficking, prostitution and crimes of violence . We also seized a number of firearms there,' said Jonathan Pullen, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Rocky Mountain Division, at a press conference.

The Denver Springs raid comes a day after US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials announced that nearly 800 people had been arrested in the first few days of Operation Tidal Wave, a multi-agency immigration enforcement operation in Florida.

According to Pullen, dozens of small packets of drugs including cocaine and pink cocaine, a mixture of substances called 'Toosy', were seized from the nightclub. Pullen said that there are more than 200 people in the

club and 114 of them are living in America illegally. The police team also detained more than a dozen active members of the American military from the nightclub, according to USA Today.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has detained illegal immigrants and the Army's Criminal Investigation Division will investigate active duty personnel who have been arrested, Pullen said.

Since taking office on January 20, President Donald Trump has been running a campaign to deport non-immigrants, arguing with federal judges as well as state and local officials. As Trump pushes for mass deportations, federal authorities are stepping up raids across the US.
