At least nine people were killed and dozens injured in a Russian drone attack on a bus transporting workers in the Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk, the governor said on Wednesday.

"Nine people were killed in an enemy attack" in the southeastern city of Ranguts, Governor Serhiy Lisak wrote in a telegram, "The number of wounded is constantly increasing." He informed that the number of injured has reached 30.

Ukrainian authorities have also reported fires in several areas after the Russian attack .

Attacks were also reported in the regions of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava and Odessa.

It is said that one person was injured in the shooting in the Belgorod region of Russia.

The attack took place while the ambassadors of the United States, Ukraine and European countries were holding a new round of talks in Britain on Wednesday to end the three-year-long conflict .
