Citizens staying in the US for more than 30 days may be jailed if they do not register according to the Alien Registration Act.

Press Secretary Caroline Levid said on Friday, "Today is the last time to register under the Alien Registration Act until April 11." All foreign nationals staying in the United States for more than 30 days must register with the federal government. For this, she said that the punishment can be fined and imprisoned or both.

Caroline recalled President Trump's words and said, "Both President Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristy Noem have said that if you do not register, you will be arrested, fined, deported and you will never be able to come back to our country." is . Secretary Noem said, "President Trump and I have a clear message for people who came to our country illegally - leave us now."

In this statement, foreign citizens who have been in the United States without registration for 30 days or more from April 11, 2025, are asked to be immediately registered.
