Protesters have expressed outrage over the Trump administration's move to fire thousands of federal employees, close Social Security Administration regional offices, effectively shut down entire agencies, deport immigrants, cut protections for transgender people, and cut funding for health programs.

Protests were held in all 50 state capitals, federal buildings, congressional offices, social security headquarters, parks and main places of the city with slogans of "hands off" to end the state power grab by two billionaires. CNN reported that the protesters protested against Trump and Musk's working style with three main demands.

Maryland's Democratic MP Jamie Raskin, who participated in the protest held in the capital Washington DC, said that there is no future for a president with Mussolini's politics and Herbert Hoover's economics. Addressing the thousands of protesters gathered at the Washington Monument, MP Raskin said, "No moral person wants to be a dictator who destroys the economy, but the current Trump administration is doing things that will cause the country's economy to suffer and the people to die." We need to unite against this.''

During the Washington demonstration, Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar said that if the future of everyone in America is to be secured, it is necessary for the Trump administration to advance a long-term plan to ensure the future of the neighbors, the poor, and the children.

Florida lawmaker Maxwell Frost urged Trump not to take protests and demonstrations lightly. "In human history, authoritarians are never satisfied with the power they have and they test the limits, they break the law, and then they see the people to see if they are quiet or if they are loud," Frost said. He commented that it was a joke. He accused those who have been in government service for years of committing a crime against their families by dismissing them for no reason.
