Israel has re-intensified its attack on the Gaza Strip. At least 57 people have been killed in the last 24 hours in an attack by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in the Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera reported that 55 people were injured in the attack.
According to an Indonesian hospital in the northern city of Jabaliya, at least 19 Palestinians, including 9 children, were killed in an attack on a UN clinic where displaced families were taking shelter. But the local hospitals said that at least 20 people died in the overnight attack.
According to the BBC, the Civil Defense Department said that 12 bodies, including children and women, were removed from a house in the southern Khan Younis area. A local, Rida Al-Jabbour, said that one of the dead was a neighbor and her three-month-old baby. "Since the strike, we haven't been able to sit or sleep or do anything," she told Reuters.
The Department of Civil Defense said that an attack in Jabalia later on Wednesday damaged two rooms of a clinic being used as a shelter by the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA). At least 22 people died in those attacks.
