Britain has said that there will be no talks on Ukraine without Ukraine's involvement. British Defense Minister John Haley, who arrived in Belgium to participate in the meeting of the defense ministers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), said that the involvement of the Ukrainian side is mandatory in any negotiation about Ukraine.

"Without Ukraine, there can be no talks on Ukraine," he said. Haley's response was made public after it became public that there was a telephone conversation between the Presidents of the United States and Russia on the issue of ending the Ukraine war.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the talks with his Russian counterpart were very fruitful and agreed to start talks immediately to end the Ukraine war.

Responding to Trump's statement, Haley said, 'NATO's job is to put Ukraine in the strongest position for any negotiation.' He says that there will be a new announcement to support Ukraine through NATO.

'We want lasting peace. "We don't want to go back to conflict and aggression," he said, "let's not forget that Russia is a threat beyond Ukraine."
