US Republican lawmakers have submitted a bill to parliament to abolish the DV (Diracy Visa) lottery. Mike Collins, a Republican representative from Georgia, has submitted a bill to the US House of Representatives to abolish the DV Lottery. He registered 'The Security and Fairness Enhancement for America-2025' in Congress on Wednesday.

The bill brought by Collins has been supported by three Republican lawmakers. Endorsed by Reps. Andy Agnes of Tennessee, Brandon Gill of Texas, and Mike Haridopoulos of Florida. MP Collins has claimed that the main purpose of bringing the bill is to end the DV lottery and stop the immediate process for green card (permanent resident) given to lottery winners with priority to their family members.

Collins has claimed through social media that he has introduced a bill to end the endless system of chain migration in the United States by using a faceless computer code to select people who will get a green card. "I am proud to have introduced this bill," said Collins, "I call for help in passing the bill to redefine priorities and put America first." Among them, the number of Nepalis is also high. Until now, more than 57 thousand Nepalis have received green cards through the DVD, which was also started in Nepal since 1990. Which number is 25 percent of the Nepalis in America. Annually, more than 1 million Nepalis apply for DV.

US President Donald Trump has been opposing the TV show. Since his previous tenure, he has been opposing DV . In his first remarks since the deadly truck attack in Manhattan, New York on October 31, 2017, President Trump called on Congress to immediately end the DV program. Sefullo Saipov, 29, who joined the attack, came to the US from Uzbekistan via DV. 8 people were killed in the attack.

Trump also appealed to the social network to end the TV after that incident. After the registration of the will, Trump has not given any feedback about the DV. Earlier in 2017, a bill named RAGE Act was introduced to end the DV program, which was also supported by Trump. However, that bill could not be passed .
