US President Donald Trump has become angry after the Palestinian group Hamas said it would block the release of hostages. On Saturday, Hamas planned to free three Israelis held hostage in Gaza in exchange for the release of more Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. But Hamas has postponed the release of the hostages saying that Israel has violated the ceasefire agreement.

After that, angry Trump warned that he will announce the end of the ceasefire if Hamas does not release all the hostages by 12 noon on Saturday. He warned that if the hostages are not released, he will end the ceasefire and destroy Hamas, according to CNN. 'In my opinion, they should all return by 12 o'clock on Saturday. "Two and one and three and four and two, not in installments," Trump said, "I have made my opinion. Israel can even correct it.'

There are still 76 people under the control of Hamas.  73 of them were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, 2023, during the attack on Israel. One of the 73 is Nepalese Bipin Joshi. Joshi from Kanchanpur went to Israel to study agriculture under the 'Learn and Earn' programme. Three people have been under the control of Hamas since a decade ago.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has said that stopping the release of the bonds is a complete violation of the ceasefire. He also instructed the army to be alert. He said that he ordered to be on high alert for any possible situation in Gaza and for the safety of the community. "We will not allow the reality of October 7 to return," he said.

But if Israel fulfills its obligations according to the cease-fire agreement, the door to the prisoner exchange on Saturday will remain open. Hamas said. According to the news agency AFP, Hamas spokesman Abu Obeidah has accused Israel of delaying the return of displaced Palestinians to northern Gaza, firing on residents and not allowing the distribution of humanitarian aid as agreed.

The cease-fire between Hamas and Israel began on January 19. Since then, 16 Israeli and 5 Thai hostages have been released. In return, 566 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons have been released.

In the first phase of the three-phase ceasefire, it was agreed to release 33 people held hostage by Hamas. In return, Israel will release 1900 Palestinians in the agreement. According to the Israeli Prime Minister's office, 8 out of 33 people have died.

It is mentioned in the ceasefire agreement that negotiations for the second phase will be held 16 days after the first phase begins. But the talks have not started yet. In the second phase of the ceasefire, the remaining hostages will be released and the Israeli forces will be completely withdrawn from Gaza. The plan for the reconstruction of Gaza is included in the third phase.

Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people. 251 people were taken hostage by Hamas. After that, the war between Hamas and Israel broke out.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 48 thousand 189 Palestinians have lost their lives in the war since October 7. More than one third of them are children. 100,000 were injured in the Israeli attack. More than 1400 people have died on the Israeli side. More than 60 percent of the structures have been destroyed.
