A Russian spy ship has entered British waters for the second time, according to the British Navy. After identifying the Russian spy ship, Britain has taken additional security measures.

According to the British Ministry of Defence, the Russian spy ship 'Yantar' entered British waters this week through the English Channel. Yantar first entered British waters last November. During that time, British officials said that the ship observed the important infrastructure under the sea.

After being warned by a British submarine, the ship went from there to the Mediterranean Sea. Amid the tension in the Baltic Sea with the Russian attack on Ukraine, the news that a Russian ship has entered British waters in international waters has become public.

British Defense Minister John Haley has stated that Britain has further strengthened the security of cables and other infrastructure in the Baltic Sea. In addition, he said, Britain is going to provide aircraft to support the efforts of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) for maritime patrols and surveillance.

'My message to President Putin is clear. "We know what you are doing, and we will not hold back on taking strong action to save Britain," Haley said. Haley says that Britain is going to deploy an advanced AI system known as Nordic Warden.

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian President's Office, Kremlin, while talking to journalists, refused to comment on the UK's accusations. According to CNN, he did not know about Yantar traveling through the English Channel this week.
