In some, it has also generated interest in how it helps in fire control . The name of the pink powder used in fire control is 'Fos Chek'. This powder was sold by a company called 'Perimeter'.
Fos Check has been used to control fires in America since 1963. Fos Chek is used by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection as the main fire extinguisher. According to an Associated Press report published in 2022, Fos Chek is the most widely used fire retardant in the world. 
Fos Check is used to prevent the spread of fire in areas with vegetation and fire risk. According to the US Forest Service, Fos Check cools the ground and slows the spread of fire. Not done . Although 80 percent water, 14 percent salt, 6 percent coloring and anti-rust substances are used in it, the company said.
The company said that the bright color was used with the intention of being seen by pilots and fire engine drivers and firefighters.
