The Israeli Defense Forces (ADF) have re-intensified their attacks on the Gaza Strip. According to Al Jazeera, the ADF has carried out airstrikes on schools and houses in the Gaza Strip where displaced persons are taking shelter.

At least 24 people have been killed in the attack since Sunday morning. Israel has stepped up its attacks while the news that the talks for a ceasefire in Gaza are about to end is becoming public. 

It is said that an agreement has been reached in the cease-fire talks held on Tuesday, mediated by the United States, Qatar and Egypt. US President Joe Biden and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi have issued a joint call to Israel and Hamas to conclude a ceasefire agreement. 

After the Palestinian group Hamas attacked northern Israel on October 7, 2023, the war between the two sides escalated. At least 1200 people died in that attack.  Israel strikes Gaza, 24 dead

In addition, Hamas took 251 hostages. Among them, 94 people including Bipin Joshi from Nepal are still under the control of Hamas. Israeli officials say that 60 of those under Hamas control are still alive.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 46 thousand 645 Palestinians have lost their lives in the war since October 7. More than a third of them are children . 

According to Palestinian officials, the number of children killed since October 7 has exceeded 18,000. 100,000 were injured in the Israeli attack.
