The death toll from the earthquake in China's Tibet has reached 126. According to the Chinese media, the number of people injured in the earthquake that occurred on Tuesday morning in Dingri County of China's Xizang Autonomous Region has reached 188.

According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, China's official body for measuring earthquakes, the 6.8-magnitude earthquake occurred at 9:50 a.m. local time. According to the center, the point of origin (depth) of the earthquake is 10 km.

According to CCTV, there are 7 villages around 5 km from the epicenter of the earthquake. Similarly, there are 2 cities around 20 km from the center. Videos and photos of buildings collapsed due to the earthquake have also been released. According to Chinese media, relief and rescue teams have been deployed in the earthquake-affected areas.
