There are a total of 1 crore 55 lakh voters in Delhi, of which 83 lakh 49 thousand are men and 71 lakh 74 hundred are women . According to the commission, the number of voters who voted for the first time is about 2 lakh. The commission also says that there will be more than 13,000 polling stations in Delhi, which is also the capital.
The Aam Aadmi Party government has been in Delhi for 10 years. Aam Aadmi Party has released the list of candidates for all 70 seats in Delhi. Similarly, the Bharatiya Janata Party has released a list of 29 candidates and the Congress has released a list of more than 40 candidates.
The Aam Aadmi Party won 62 seats in the last Delhi Assembly elections held in 2020. Similarly, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 8 seats while the Congress had zero seats. In Delhi, the Congress had failed to win even one seat in the 2015 elections. In the elections held in 2015, the Aam Aadmi Party won a huge majority (67 out of 70).
