The military regime announced by the UN was overturned by the parliament within a few hours. Yun then retraced his steps . After that, the MPs of the opposition party submitted an impeachment proposal to the parliament against Yun.
But the parliamentarians of President Yeol's party People's Power Party (PPP) boycotted the vote on the impeachment last Sunday. Because of this, he was able to avoid impeachment.
