India's new social networking platform 'Jector' is now set to be launched in Nepal. Developed by Softa Technologies, the platform is specifically designed to target the Gen-G and Gen Alpha generations in South Asia, the company said.
Jector was recently introduced to the media in India. Softa has been stating that it has created the app in line with the goal of a self-reliant digital India. The company claims that this platform was created to challenge the fact that big technology companies from the West and other powerful countries have been treating South Asian users as 'data-mines' for the past two decades.
The company has stated that this app does not collect any user data and for security reasons, it does not have the facility to download and share photos and videos. Now this app will be introduced in Nepal as well, Softa's communication officer Ashwini Kumar Nigam informed at a press meet organized in Kathmandu. He said that the registration process has also been moved forward with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for this. 'We will complete all the processes and make the app public,' he said.
The statement mentions that Jector is the world's first 'by design freedom platform', that is, it has been built in a way that is not under anyone's control. ‘Zero behavior tracking model is its main feature, there is no tracking, profiling or algorithmic manipulation in Jector, the app will run under the complete control of the user,’ the statement said, ‘Its zero knowledge is also a special feature . In this, the user’s data is encrypted so strongly that the company itself cannot see or trace it .’
Jector has given special importance to women’s digital security and has made arrangements to prevent photos and videos from being downloaded or sent to others . In addition, the company claims that artificial intelligence (AI) will identify nudity and block harmful content in real time, as well as stop fraudulent content at the first stage . Sunil Kumar Singh, who was born in Aurangabad, Bihar and is currently a citizen of Finland, conceived this app .
