Cyber Bureau has requested to be vigilant as there has been an increase in online fraud by sending various messages with warnings to wallet users of some banks through social media.
The bureau issued a notification on Thursday and informed them not to share their details by clicking links sent on social media and messages and not to 'install' any software on their mobiles, laptops and other devices.
Police Superintendent of the Bureau Deepak Raj Awasthi informed that in recent times illegal links have been sent through social networks to pay loans online, take stock market training and install necessary software by opening the link provided.
