Dr. Govinda KC, who is on his 24th satyagraha (hunger strike unto death) at Krishna Temple in Dhangadhi, has developed health problems. Various issues have appeared in his health on the third day of the strike, prompting preparations to admit him to the hospital.

According to his associate Dr. Amrit Jaisi, Dr. KC's blood sugar level has dropped significantly to 50. His blood pressure is also reported to be low. As low blood sugar and blood pressure can lead to further complications, health workers have advised that he be immediately admitted to the hospital and kept under observation.

According to him, preparations are underway to take Dr. KC to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi for further treatment and health monitoring. Dr. Jaisi informed that arrangements are being made for a bed for him at the hospital and that he will be admitted shortly.

Dr. KC had begun his 24th hunger strike at Krishna Temple in Dhangadhi, putting forward various demands for reforms in medical education and the health sector.
