The water level in the Mahakali has started rising since Monday night. After the water flow exceeded 100,000 cusecs on Tuesday morning, the movement of four-wheeled vehicles was banned on the Sharda Barrage bridge.
The movement of four-wheeled vehicles will be banned as soon as the water flow in the river exceeds 100,000 cusecs, saying that the hundred-year-old bridge is dilapidated and may pose a risk.
