Far West Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has dismissed 4 UML ministers. Those who will be dismissed are Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Surendra Bahadur Pal, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Hira Sarki, Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Bir Bahadur Thapa, and Minister of State for Physical Infrastructure Development Nirmala Devi Saud.

There was a tussle between the two ruling parties over the budget. UML itself had rejected the budget brought by the participating government. UML MPs had also registered a proposal to cut expenses.

With this, the Far West provincial government is set to be reorganized according to the new power equation. The Chief Minister's Office has stated that discussions have been initiated regarding the government reorganization.

With 2 days left to pass the budget, the provincial dispute has reached the center. The Congress had called Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah to Kathmandu to discuss the Far West budget dispute.

Chief Minister Shah reached Kathmandu on Monday and held discussions with top Congress leaders. Chief Minister Shah informed Congress President Gagan Thapa, Deputy President Bishwaprakash Sharma, General Secretary Pradeep Poudel and others about the budget confusion and the dispute with UML.

There is a misunderstanding between the ruling party Congress and UML over budget allocation. UML lawmakers are claiming that Congress has monopolized the budget, while Chief Minister Shah has been saying that UML has allocated sufficient budget to the ministries led by him.

In the meantime, the UML parliamentary party has decided to reject the budget. The budget of the Sudurpaschim Province government is in turmoil after the UML, which is in the government, registered a proposal to cut expenses with the Provincial Assembly Secretariat on Friday.
