The working committee of the National Independent Party (NISP) Darchula has been unanimously elected. The party's first district convention has re-elected Rajesh Singh Samanta as the chairman.
Surendra Bahadur Khadayat has been unanimously elected as the vice-chairman, Rajendra Pant as the secretary, and Dhirendra Singh Bista as the joint-secretary of the committee. The treasurer will be nominated by the working committee later, said Samanta.
District Chairman Samanta said that there will be a provision for nine municipal committee chairmen in the 21-member district working committee.
