Padam Bahadur Bista has been elected as the president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP), Kanchanpur. According to the vote counting conducted late Sunday night, he was elected with 197 votes. Another candidate for president, Navin Chand, got only 61 votes.
Similarly, Rakesh Bahadur Chand has been elected as the secretary. Chand got 195 votes while another candidate for secretary, Ram Dutta Bhatta, got 55 votes.
