Sigas Rural Municipality has come first in the performance test conducted by the Educational Quality Testing Center in the fiscal year 2081/82, scoring 73.32 points.
According to the Educational Quality Testing Center, 15 schools from Sigas Rural Municipality were included in the performance level test of 128 community schools in 10 local levels of the district. Of these, 12 schools have average and 3 have average levels, resulting in an average score of 73.32 points.
According to the annual report of the Educational Quality Testing Center, the overall performance level of Sigas schools has been found to be good. Similarly, the report mentions that the performance level of schools in Dasharathchand Municipality, Pancheshwor Municipality, Melauli Municipality and Surnaya Municipality is weak.
When measuring educational quality, the school is evaluated in areas such as student learning achievement, teacher qualifications and performance, school management and leadership, teaching-learning process, physical infrastructure, student enrollment, attendance and continuity, and parental and community participation.
When measuring the level of performance of 14 schools in Patan Municipality, 8 is average and 6 is normal. Patan Municipality has received an average of 67.48 points. Similarly, in the measurement of the level of 10 schools in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality, 8 is normal and 2 is medium. In which, adding up the average scores of all, 64 points are obtained. When measuring the level of 7 schools in Shivnath Rural Municipality, 6 were rated as normal and one school as moderate, resulting in an average score of 60.26 points. Similarly, when measuring the performance level of 12 schools in Surnaya Rural Municipality, 11 were rated as normal and one school as moderate, resulting in an average score of 59.54 points.
