A hotel operator was injured in a gang attack by youths in Mahendranagar on Saturday night. A video of the incident that took place at Hotel Grand Pacific on Street No. 4 in Mahendranagar on Saturday night has gone viral on social media. According to the District Police Office, a group of three or four people assaulted the hotel operator's brother. The hotel is operated by Kishore Chand of Bhimdatta Municipality-2, Ultakham. His brother Govinda Chand was assaulted by a group, said District Police Inspector Birendra Singh Thapa of Kanchanpur. According to him, a group of three or four people assaulted Chand along with the hotel workers. Some of them have been identified. Chand, who was injured in the assault, has been discharged after treatment at the Mahakali Provincial Hospital. "We are currently searching for those involved in the incident," said Police Inspector Thapa. "An investigation is underway into the incident." According to him, the hotel has also been damaged.
