Kailali police arrested 12 people from the premises of the Land Revenue Office, Kailali, and the Transport Management Office, Dhangadhi, on Thursday.
Kailali police said that six people without a license to operate an accounting business were arrested from the premises of the Land Revenue Office and six from the Transport Management Office. The police said that the arrested people were found to be working as middlemen in those offices.
District Police Office spokesperson Yogendra Timilsina said that they were arrested as they were found to be working illegally during monitoring. Timilsina said that discussions are underway to file a case of indecent behavior against them.
