A jeep accident has occurred in Osil Kodkhala, Shailyashikhar Municipality-4, Darchula. Two people, including employees of the Irrigation Office, died and four others were injured when the jeep they were travelling in met with an accident. According to the police, the jeep bearing number S.P.P.R. 01-001 Ja 1641, which was heading towards Gokuleshwor from Osil, met with an accident on Tuesday morning. Police have informed that Sub-Engineer Manisha Pal, working at the Water Resources and Irrigation Division Office, Darchula, and another employee Bharat Titara died on the spot in the accident.
Four other people travelling in the jeep have been injured. The injured include Akbar Mahar, a resident of Shailyashikhar Municipality-4, a driver of the same place, Bikram Mahar, driver Prakash Thagunna, and Min Bahadur Pal, a resident of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-5, Dandakot.
A police team from the District Police Office and Area Police Office has reached the spot regarding the jeep accident. Police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
