After the snowfall, snowfall has occurred in the mountain areas and villages of Badimalika, Budhiganga Triveni, Budhinanda Municipality, Himali, Khaptad Chhededah, Gaumul, Swamikartik, Jagannath Rural Municipality. Due to the snowfall, locals including Bichhya, Rugin, Bandhu, Amlis of Gaumul, Dahakot, Kuru of Budhinanda, Pandusain, Khaptad Chhededah and others have been more affected.

Acting Chief District Officer Laxman Pudasaini informed that there is snowfall and heavy rain in the Lekali region. According to him, the public has been urged to adopt high alert as there is heavy rain in the district.

The district has been experiencing cold weather after continuous rain since Friday morning. Children, the elderly, and chronically ill people have been more affected by the cold. Health workers have advised people to wear loose clothing and not go out of their homes due to the cold.
