Jagat Prasad Joshi of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has won in Kailali-3. Joshi won by 8,376 votes, beating his nearest rival Birman Chaudhary of the Nepali Communist Party.
He received 20,359 votes, while Chaudhary of the NCP received 11,983 votes. Bhim Baduwal, considered a strong candidate of the Congress, has fallen to third place. He received 9,706 votes. Bikram Chaudhary of the Civil Liberation Party Nepal has received 6,747 votes. The NCP-UML has fallen to fourth place in this area. UML candidate Gauri Shankar Chaudhary received 4,752 votes, while Birendra Bahadur Bam of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 20,347 votes.
