Voting has not yet begun at two polling stations in Darchula. Polling officers have said that no local voter will be allowed to cast their votes until 3 pm.

Earlier, the locals had decided not to participate in the voting at two polling stations here. Voters from Gaurishankar Basic School, Nagu, in Naugad Rural Municipality-1, and Dudhila Basic School, Jhusku, in Apihimal Rural Municipality-3, have decided not to vote.

Even though Baikuntha Aryal, the Chief Secretary of the Sudurpaschim Province Government, visited the residents of Nagu on Wednesday to discuss the matter, they are adamant about their decision not to vote.

At the Jhusku polling station, Apihimal Rural Municipality had decided to divide the wards in 2074 BS, but they boycotted the vote, saying that it has not been implemented yet.
