Police spokesperson Timilsina said that they pelted stones at a police vehicle while trying to control a group of youths who were fighting after consuming alcohol in Dhangadhi 13 Kailali village on Tuesday night.
‘The SP’s vehicle has also been vandalized,’ said spokesperson Timilsina. ‘The police have fired six rounds in the air.’
He said that 12 people involved in the incident have been taken into custody.
