A clash has broken out between two groups in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-13 of Kailali during the silent period. Some people were injured in the clash that took place on Tuesday evening, while the police have taken 12 people into custody.

According to Yogendra Timilsena, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kailali, the clash took place after the group consumed alcohol. Other reasons have not been revealed yet. 

A joint team of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force Nepal was mobilized to control the clash.

During the control, ASI Double Saud of the police was injured in the head, and a police vehicle was also damaged. 

A police team led by the DSP of the District Police Office, Kailali, has been deployed to maintain peace and security at the scene after the clash. The arrested persons have been taken into custody and further investigation into the incident is underway, according to the police.
