The university published a notice on Friday inviting applications for the posts of 26 professors and 51 associate professors.
The posts will be filled in the following subjects at the professor and associate professor levels: Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Pharmacology, Nursing, Internal Medicine, ENT, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Dental Surgery, Pediatrics, Radiology, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, General Practice, Ophthalmology and Medical Education.
According to the notice, one post each is required for most subjects at the professor and associate professor level and two posts in some subjects, while two to three posts are required for the associate professor level depending on the subject.
The university administration has stated that detailed application details, qualifications and other conditions can be obtained from the university website and administration office. Also, if the last day falls on a public holiday, arrangements have been made to apply within office hours the next day.
