The deceased was identified as Madan Thagunna, 25, a resident of Nwali, Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-5, said Baldev Badu, Information Officer and Deputy Inspector of Police at the District Police Office, Baitadi.
One person has died in an EV accident at a place called Ghonedhar in Dogadakedar-3, Shrikot, Baitadi.
The deceased was identified as EV driver Madan Thagunna, 25, of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-5, Nwali, District Police Office Baitadi, Information Officer and Deputy Inspector of Police Baldev Badu said.
On Saturday night, at around 9:45 pm, an EV bus (Suppra 03001 Ja 0624) heading from Sillegada to Badinya met with an accident. Driver Thagunna was injured in the accident.
The injured Thagunna died at Dadeldhura Hospital during treatment. Police said the EV bus fell into a river about 250 meters below the road and only the driver was in the bus.
On Thursday, 13 people, including those from Baitadi and Bajhang, died when a bus crashed while returning from Purchaudi Municipality-7 in Baitadi.
