Government committed to upgrading Dadeldhura Hospital: Minister Gautam

Minister for Health and Population Dr. Sudha Gautam has said that the government is committed to upgrading Dadeldhura Hospital.

Minister Gautam said on Sunday that there is still a lot of work to be done for the upgrading and development of Dadeldhura Hospital under the federal government.

Understanding the condition of the hospital's services, infrastructure and human resource management, Minister Gautam made it clear that the ministry will take necessary initiatives for improvement.

During the monitoring, Minister Gautam informed that initiatives will be taken to establish a 300-bed medical college at Dadeldhura Hospital. Stating that the current government is an electoral government, she said that the work that can be completed within the limited time will be carried out with priority.

To address the hospital's human resource problem, the process of Organization and Management (ONM) approval will be taken by the ministry and after it is approved, the staff management will be done according to the posts. In addition, if there is a situation where it is possible to bring back the human resources deployed elsewhere from Dadeldhura Hospital for the time being, the ministry committed to taking initiatives in that too.

Minister Gautam directed the hospital administration to operate the services currently being provided by the hospital in a more effective, systematic and service-client-friendly manner. She said that the government is serious about service expansion, quality improvement and infrastructure development in line with the status of a federal hospital.
